How to play Childhood Sweets (Christmas Edition) - get in the holiday spirit today!
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is playing Childhood Sweets. It's a board game where you compete to collect the most candies by trading, stealing, and blocking your opponents. The game is easy to learn, but can be challenging to win.
The game starts with each player receiving six candy tokens. On a player's turn, they choose one of their tokens to trade with any other player for a candy token of their choice. If a player doesn't have a candy token to offer, they can instead steal a candy from another player. The last option is to block an opponent, preventing them from taking any actions on their turn.
The goal of the game is to collect as many different types of candy as possible. When a player has collected all four colors of a type of candy, they earn a point. The first player to earn three points wins the game.
Christmas is the perfect time to play Childhood Sweets because it's such a festive game. The colors and designs on the candy tokens are colorful and cheerful, perfect for the season. I always enjoy playing this game during Christmastime with my family and friends. We have so much fun trying to collect the most candies and blocking our opponents' moves.
Do you want to get in the holiday spirit today? Then play Childhood Sweets! It's sure to get you into the Christmas spirit in no time.

Free play Childhood Sweets (Christmas Edition) - enjoy the holidays without spending a penny!
Welcome to our list of free Christmas sweets! We have everything from chocolate coins and candy canes to advent calendars and festive cookies.
We'll start with the classics. Chocolate coins are always a hit, and you can make them yourself fairly cheaply. All you need is some chocolate, some candy melts (or white chocolate), and some festive sprinkles. Melt the chocolate and candy melts, then pour into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle. Pipe stars onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then top with sprinkles. Leave to set in the fridge for 20 minutes before enjoying!
If you're after something a bit more Christmassy, why not try making candy canes? These are incredibly simple – just sugar, water, corn syrup, food colouring, and peppermint extract. Cook over a low heat until it reaches 300F/150C (or until a drop of mixture dropped into cold water forms a hard ball), then pipe into shape and leave to dry overnight.
If you're looking for an advent calendar alternative, we've got you covered. Why not make your own chocolate advent calendar? All you need is some chocolate, Styrofoam (or something similar), toothpicks, and 24 small treats to fill your calendar. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or in a saucepan set over low heat, then pour into a piping bag fitted with a small nozzle. Poke holes in the Styrofoam (make sure they're big enough for the toothpicks) and pipe the chocolate inside. Wait for it to set (you can put it in the fridge for speed), then pop in your treats!
If you're after something simpler, we also have some free recipes for festive cookies! These cookies are really easy to make – all you need is flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and red food colouring (if desired). Combine the dry ingredients in one bowl, the wet ingredients in another bowl, then mix together until combined. Chill the dough for 30 minutes before rolling out on a lightly floured surface and cutting into shapes with cookie cutters. Bake at 190C/375F for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely on wire racks before decorating (if desired).
We hope you enjoy these free Christmas sweets! Merry Christmas!
